Complaint about my in laws PART 2 😂

I made a post about a week ago about my in-laws who would not leave!! I think I wrote it day 12 they were here. Day 12 turned into 15 days 😤 Like I would understand if they lived far away and wanted to make the visit worthwhile, but they live 10 minutes from me lol

They ended up having to stay extra days because we got flooded in, which we all knew might happen so I feel like they purposely stayed here knowing they would get flooded in Christmas morning and use that as an excuse to not leave. And it’s not like I could tell them yous need to go home today because well, there was really no leaving with the weather. With that being said, here’s my next story-

It’s Christmas Day. His mom wakes up to make breakfast so we can eat and open the babies gifts. I feel like whenever I go to eat my baby starts to act up and truth be told I’m tired of eating with a squirming baby on my lap or having to get up a million times throughout my meal to tend to him. Lately I’ve been telling my husband to eat first so then he can take the baby so I can eat in peace. And my husband devours his plate in like 5 minutes so it’s not like I have to wait forever to eat.

As soon as I made my plate and sat down to eat, his mom says to me (in a nice way) “Put your plate down and open the babies gifts since dad is holding him” UMMM excuse me!??? Even tho she said it nicely that is still rude as fuck!! You all got to eat, I would like to eat too. And I don’t see you offering to take the baby that way I can eat. I looked right at her and told her no. Thank god my husband jumped in and firmly told her the presents can wait let me eat first. Like Forreal 🤬🤬 Please tell me I’m not the only one who finds that extremely rude

They finally left on Sunday and his mom texted me asking what We’re doing for New Year’s eve if they can come over. I think the fuck not. I told her I picked up a shift that night (which I really did) and she proceeds to tell me, can you call in? It’s New Year’s eve. So the fuck what. Are you gonna pay my rent? Cause I could really use that holiday pay. I told her no and she said but we want to order pizza and come down. I said well I’ll be sleeping before I go in for an overnight so no. I haven’t heard from her yet I can’t wait to see what she says
