So I always hear that finances are the number one stressor for most marriages.

Anyone in a similar boat?

So I recently started a business which has left us in a big financial strain. I am not making enough yet to give myself a paycheck so we are living off my husbands salary which pays our bills and that’s it. We have no money left over for groceries or entertainment. Because of this financial strain we are always both grumpy and mean to each other. My husband wants to live like we have two paychecks and spends money like we have it, and we don’t. It’s beyond frustrating. He is constantly buying beer, snacks, ordering food, etc. We are constantly overdrawing the account and it’s giving us sooooo many fees that we can’t pay 😩

I have even offered to work another job so I can get a paycheck and he refuses that I do that because then I would not have any family time (BUT IT WOULD ONLY BE TEMPORARY 😤)

So now all we do is fight. It’s awful. I’m exhausted. I am skipping meals to feed the kids. I am going to the food bank. I am selling Plasma. I am selling our belongings on FB marketplace. I am TRYING! There isn’t more I can do other than get a second job. And this is just causing more strain on our marriage. I am so tired of not having money and I am tired of fighting. I want my happy marriage back 😞
