I picked my baby up at my mothers house when I got out of work yesterday, and I’ve seen her a couple times before that too. She called last night and told me her neighbor tested positive for covid that day.

She went to her house the day before her test came (neighbor didn’t tell my mom she got tested) to drop off a gift and she had a mask on the whole time also got an exer saucer from her for my baby and mom said she disinfected it, wiped it down etc.

She is quarantining herself to be safe but I asked her if I should call my work and tell them and she and my dad said I don’t have to because I wasn’t exposed first hand.

But I’m just a tad concerned and asking everyone else for more input, would you call work and explain the matter? Or is it okay because I wasn’t exposed first hand? I will get tested in 5 days probably or if my mom gets symptoms I just don’t know what to do... I would be beside myself if my baby got sick /:
