I thought it would involve more tears, since it was my decision to wean and not hers, but it actually went really smoothly so far!

I’m 15 weeks pregnant with my second and nursing my toddler was just getting to be too much. My nipples hurt, I don’t want to tandem nurse and I want to minimize any jealousy with the new baby, so about 6 weeks ago started cutting back from 5 boobs a day, and we’re now on day 2 of zero boobs. I’m thrilled that it’s working, but it’s also really bittersweet; she’s not my little bf baby anymore 😭
