EWCM but negative opk?

I've never had EWCM before only when ovulating. I asked my husband to check my cervix as Im trying to track my body better and (tmi sorry) on his fingers was EWCM. Should I expect ovulation to come soon? My opks are low but my wee has been more diluted than usual as trying to lose weight so always drinking water

Ovulation usually happens a few days after EWCM. 🙂

Cervical mucus does not determine ovulation. It only tells you if it’s fertile or non fertile cervical mucus. You would need to use opks to pinpoint ovulation and temp to confirm it actually occurred. Opks detect the LH surge, which you need to release an egg. Just keep testing!
