How long after birth of your baby did you have an alcoholic beverage?

Our daughter was in the hospital for a week after an emergency c-section, so I physically didn’t feel well enough until 2 weeks after she was born to even think about alcohol. But then I had that first glass of wine and it was heavenly.

I forget with my first but with my second it was less than two weeks later. I’m not a big drinker anyway but it was Christmas Eve and I was drinking an alcoholic beverage because I could, dammit! 😂

First baby 6 months after at Christmas a glass of wine. Secound baby 2 months at New Years glass of champagne. I didn’t drink much befor having kids really..
But now that I shouldn’t while breastfeeding and don’t while being pregnant makes me want a drink haha if I’m having a drink with breastfeeding I do it right after a feeding and wait atleast 2 hours

A few weeks but we spent a full week in the hospital. With our first, I had a daiquiri out to lunch with my mom (baby was home with dad) and with our second I had a Moscow mule sitting on our back deck.
