Diaper Genie or what?

What do you all do for disposing dirty diapers? Diaper genie? Garbage pal in the nursery? Just toss in the regular household garbage?

I used one with my first and will use it again with this one. A lot of woman say it’s a waste of money but it worked for me

We love this! It keeps the smell trapped (with the occasional whiff of you leave it open. Just make sure you take it out regularly. Plus they make scent things for it. I put baking sofa in the bottom and replace each time!

I use little sacks like this. I tie a poopy diaper in it and throw it away right away. Pee diapers I just put in the garbage right away.

I have 2 of these (upstairs and downstairs) just uses grocery bags and we take it out every other day or if it’s stinky before then take it out

I liked the pail at first,but once the solids started it was just too stinky and changing it very frequently made more cost and waste of the refill bags, which defeats the purpose of the pail. I use a regular small trashcan with either grocery store bags or you can buy small bags for cheap, then toss if full or stinky.

When mine were tiny babies and the poop was still runny we put them in the bathroom we don’t often use, those diapers didn’t smell much anyway. When they switched to solids and their poop became solid and smellier we dumped the poop in the toilet and threw the diapers in the bathroom trash can.

Diaper genie is a massive waste of plastic! We use a regular old garbage can and it’s fine. Admittedly, the plastic liner absorbs the smell but if you can find one that is just metal, it would be perfect. Diapers are not so smelly that each one needs to be wrapped in plastic.
