Sleeping!

I have to say, as first time parents we clearly don’t know everything. We had been putting baby down to sleep between 9:30 and 10 at night. Seemed to work, but he’d wake between 4 and 5 am for feeding/comfort then wake for the day at 6:30. We were so tired. And he’d nap 3-4 times for a goal of 6ish hours a day.

We finally opted to push his bedtime earlier and slowly stepped him back to 8 pm. He now sleeps for 11 hours a night!! No waking in the middle of the night plus he wakes himself around 7 and coos and chatters until we get him at 7:30. Literally the biggest best blessing for 2021 is that we are all sleeping through the night.
