My LO has had avocado at least 4-5 times so far. Yesterday for dinner he ate almost an entire half of an avocado and was loving it. About an hour and a half later he spit up a little bit and it had a green tinge like avocado. He spits up milk quite regularly so we weren’t concerned. Then around midnight(about 5.5 hours after his dinner) he vomited, loudly, and it looked like a bunch of avocado or just green tinged spit up. It was so loud it set the monitor off and we ran in to his room... he didn’t seem bothered in the least and was smiling. I gave him a bit of a bottle and put him back down after changing his sheet, and then minutes later he vomited up his entire bottle. After that, he was fine and hasn’t thrown up since. Should I be calling his doctor or is he probably okay since it was only the two times throughout the night? He doesn’t have a fever and is being his happy/smiley self today. Has anyone had this reaction with avocado? I don’t know if it’s an allergic reaction because I’ve heard that will happen within the hour or two following the exposure.
