For the past 3-4 weeks my little guy has been pooping 5-6 times a day. I asked the dr at our 15 month appointment about it and he said as long as it was “normal” and not diarrhea, accompanied by fever, etc. he wasn’t concerned. But now he has an awful diaper rash that started last night and he screams in pain when I wipe his bum. I’m so diligent about cleaning him after he poops, not leaving it in his diaper, but I think the frequent wiping must finally have gotten to him. He’s never had one before.

Someone suggested maybe teething could be the reason, which is possible, he just got two top molars... but his diet hasn’t changed or anything that makes me think it would be a change in that.

Any ideas/suggestions with the frequent bowel movements and/or diaper rash would be greatly appreciated!
