I run a appointment based business so it’s inevitable I get some no shows during the year or no call no shows but try to avoid it as it hurts business. My question is what should be my goal for this year for the max amount of no shows no more then? 👇

So In 2018 it was my first year so had lots of no shows as I was new and not very good: 92 no shows total.
2019 much better year and before covid: total no shows 56
2020 has been a bad year ever since covid the most no shows, no call no shows as canceled ever 
Total no shows 117

Could maybe do a confirmation a few days before? My dentist calls a week before then 3 days before then the day before -they also have a cancellation fee or a no show fee. Not saying call 3 times but maybe a few days before the appointment a little reminder call?

I think at least the first half of this year will be like last. So I’d still expect a bit higher number then a normal year.
