Allergic to BBQ sauce?

My son has had bbq sauce on multiple occasions and last night he had a small amount and we noticed a small rash on his face after eating it. It went away within an hour or so. We decided to watch it. Today at daycare they gave him bbq sauce and she sent me the picture below and asked if it’s happened in the past. The rash is now gone again (I will note he did not wake up with the rash from last night). Second picture is from 45-an hour after the first photo. Should I call the doctor or just stop giving him BBQ sauce and talk to him about it at his next visit?
