Worried about being infertile

I was on depovera shot for almost a year and I never got my period on it. I stopped in May 2020, and I’ve got my period back and it is starting to regulate and I’ve been keeping track. My doctor said it take 3-6 months for my period to go back to normal and it’s about that 6 month mark. I asked her if she thinks I was infertile because my boyfriend and I have never used protection and I know he 💦 in me, but she said at 18 she doesn’t think that would be likely. I’m not necessarily trying to get pregnant, but my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and I just am worried that when I want kids that it might not happen because he has been 💦 in me since the beginning and I’ve never got pregnant. Should I go to the doctor and ask to be sure or have any women else had this problem and still been able to conceive?
