Expired epipen
I have been trying to refill my daughter's epipen prescription for almost two weeks now. It expired at the end of December. I received an automated call from the pharmacy saying the epipen is out of stock and they will fill it when it's available again. We are very careful when it comes to her egg allergy but I'm wondering if the epipen would be safe to use in an emergency? I'm waiting for my pharmacy to open to speak to the pharmacist but wondering if this is a common thing with epipens and what are people supposed to do if they need it and it's not available? We never had to use hers and haven't had to refill it since she got her prescription over a year ago
