When to have baby number 2?

My little boy is now 1year 4 months and was wondering how far apart is everyone one else’s children? I would like to have another baby but I don’t know what kind of age difference I would like, my husband is in the military so I’m home alone a lot with my little boy and I don’t want to make anything harder for myself, can anyone tell me the age difference of their children? Would you of had a bigger or shorter age gap? How hard do you find it with two children? Or positives and negatives...

We are going to be aiming towards a 2.5 year gap with our second if all goes as planned!

My first 2 are 3.5 years apart. I think all ages will have their difficulties. The plus side was he was older enough to watch tv with a snack while I put the baby to sleep. I didn’t constantly have to be in the same room with him. But he acts up much more since his brother came along, I imagine it’s to get attention. I don’t know if that would have been different with age. I’m 20 weeks with number 3 now and terrified for the less than 2 year age gap. My 16 month old is still very attached and gets into everything! So he can’t be left alone for 5 seconds so i think it will be much more difficult.

Mine are 7 years apart and it’s amazing. The oldest is self-sufficient in a lot of areas so that the newborn and contact naps in the first year weren’t as big of a deal as they may be with younger children who still need to be “watched” constantly. 
Mama’s find a way to make any age gap work!
I want a third, but I personally don’t want to spread myself so thin at this “young” age of my Sept babe.
Others love having them close together.
There is no right way/right answer - you will make it work whatever happens. ☺️

I started ttc around my first child’s second birthday and got pregnant right away. The age difference has been relatively easy to manage so far.

I just had a baby last month making my sept 2019 baby and him only 14.5 months apart . So far so good! My husband is also military and left last week for 6 months. Ideal? No. But we are managing . My son is only 5 weeks so he sleeps pretty much all day which makes it easy for me to play with my toddler .

Our first are 3.5 years, it was great as he could fully talk, potty trained and could play by himself when I needed to put baby to sleep. I’m 21 weeks with our 3rd and terrified for 2 under 2 lol

My two are 20 months apart. (Just turned 3 in December and 16 months) My husband is a career firefighter who works 24 hour shifts. There have been times where it has been difficult, but to me it’s totally worth it. Once we found a routine that worked for both kids we stuck to it while he was at work and his days off. We are now currently trying for our third which will obviously be a bigger age gap but that makes me just as nervous.

Mine are 10 years apart and I love it so much 😂 I was so worried at first, but I couldn’t imagine having two littles. My anxiety is WAY too bad.
