Anyone had to get restiched after vaginal birth?

I went to my 6 week check up today and have to get restiched tomorrow. I did notice an opening when I was about 2-3 weeks pp but thought it would heal. It sucks!!

I’m worried this is going to happen! I’m 5 weeks pp now and it still feels so raw and where the stitches were burns a lot at times. I just feel like it’s not healing properly, but I guess I’ll find out in 2 weeks!

No one even saw me for my 6week pp check up 🤷‍♀️ Only telephone appointment asking me if I’m ok 🙈

No I didn’t my dr cut me a little so I didnt have a lot of stitches but I guess it’s possible especially if it was a lot of stitches and a tear. Sry girl😩

No but I went for my check up at 8w PP (that's the earliest they gave my an appointment) and I apparently wasn't healed completely yet so my OB gave me estrogen cream and I had to apply it for 2 weeks and when I went back at 10w PP they said I was good to go and didn't need to be re-stitched. 🤷🏻

I didn’t get stitched this time around but honestly iam worried I might have to be. I peeked down there this time and honestly it was scary looking hopefully it’s better by my 6 week appointment
