Which should I trust?

I took a clear blue opk one with the new testing stick thing and the old one from 3 months ago. With the strips from the new pack.
I got a negative on the old one
And a flashing smiley on the new one.
Which should I trust? The new one right ?

Take the strip out and look at the lines!

with these ones it’s extremely important that you start testing on the correct day - usually a day or two before you think you’ll ovulate. it picks up the slightest increase so even though you may not actually have hit peak, the test will think you have because it doesn’t have a base to work off if that makes sense
