Does dilute urine effect ovulation tests?

Hi y’all! I’m having ovulation test strips that go from dark (not as dark as control just yet) to faint and then dark again. It’s only been 2 days but I’ve been testing like a mad woman because I’m thinking as the day goes on it would get darker... but I’m wondering if maybe it’s not because I stay hydrated throughout the day. Anyone have any advice on this?

Here is the best way to test with OPKs...
Pick a testing time and stick to it. If you test at 10am one day, test at 10am every day. Follow the same hydration routine you normally do. This will balance out the effect of any changing urine concentrations. If/when you want to test more than once a day, just make sure it’s at the same time every day. 
Also with noting that many women do not have a linear rise in LH. It can go up and down until the surge, in which tests would not get progressively darker. This is totally normal.
