My husband and I have been TTC for just shy of a year. I went to my doctor prior to waiting a full year because my cycles have become a bit irregular and I am not detecting an LH surge every month. She did not do any kind of pelvic or physical exam, didn’t draw any bloodwork. I also mentioned to her that luteal phase seems to be short because I will get my period 10 days after my LH surge. She told me that I must be detecting my LH surge late because virtually all women have a 14 day luteal phase, which to my understanding isnt true. Should I see her a couple more times before assuming she won’t be very helpful to me or seek a second opinion?
