Baby acne?

It’s only right on her chest. I want to call her doctor but my mom is telling me it’s just baby acne.

Its your baby not your moms, if you feel you should call your doctor about it then you should. You can't let other people decide for you thats why lots of issues get looked over a lot of the time.

I use to use baby powder under his arm pits and around his neck and even in his private area but I realized he was getting acne all over those spots so the pediatrician (who is truly the best doctor I’ve ever met) he advised me to give up the powder and don’t ever use it on my baby and instead use baby oil. He also recommended to take a warm wet towel or baby wipe and just wipe around his neck once a day, and put a bit of baby oil. That’s exactly what I did and will be doing for good because it’s working amazingly.

My 3 weeks old also had baby acne on his face and a little on his chest and it does look like this but trust that I called the doc 3 times almost every day because I felt like it was getting worse and needed reassurance. You can even harass them if that makes you feel better, it helped me and his acne is already going away.

It looks like the baby acne on my baby’s face. But it could also be a reaction to something, like detergent or soap. A phone call wouldn’t hurt. I would keep an eye on it, because baby acne should clear up within a couple days to a week. If it gets worse or you don’t see any improvement you might want to switch out your detergent and soap for free and clear stuff.

Obviously I’m not a doctor but my 6 week old had similar bumps on her check, face, and back of next. We started washing her face every morning and every night with a warm wash cloth and some soap. It finally cleared up and is all gone now!

you know your baby best, always trust yourself. if you are concerned that get it checked. if it is just baby acne then at least you will feel better knowing 100% thats what it is.
