How much screen time does your LO have a day?

I recently heard a nanny say that 2 year olds don’t need anything more than 30 minutes of screen time a day and no more than 1 hour for a 5 year old. This made me feel awful! As my son probably watches around 2 hours daily broken up into small increments throughout the day. Blah, please let me know I’m not the only one.

Some days 30 mins somedays alor I don’t keep track I have 2 5 yr olds that watch tv also. And my husband has it on all the time. The kids don’t watch it all the time but some times they watch a lot

Somedays I allow him upto 1 hr or less but most days no screen time. He is usually happy listening to ‘Old Macdonald’ on speaker! So I make most of it 😂. However I am going crazy listening these rhymes incessantly. He wants it all the time on speaker.

We only do screen time while brushing teeth and it's bled into also lifting on pjs. My husband and I both taught from home this week with our 27 month old and a 5 month old with no extra screen time. Sometimes we wish we could just put on a movie and snuggle up, but FLIPS OUT when the screen time is over. For is it's not worth the tantrum.
