When I was little like age 5 or 6 I saw my parents washing dishes and wanted to do the same. My dad got me a little apron and step stool and taught me how to do them gently. They would praise how good I did them and to this day  I think I take pride in doing chores and dishes because I believe others appreciate how good at it I am. I will use this trick in my children one day that's for sure!
This might sound off topic and you're like what's you're point. I don't enjoy giving BJs but I do it because my husband has constantly told me how great I am at it and no one in his past has ever come close to my level...and I believe him! I do it at least a couple of times per week.
