Is this normal?

So I’ve been out the game for a LOOOONG time. 3 years to be exact and I had protected sex with a new partner. Almost immediately after I noticed a scent. It didn’t stink but it definitely didn’t smell like me so I’m like ok, let me shower. Did that waited like a day and I’m still smelling it. Here we are like 3/4 days later still kinda smelling it & I noticed a little discharge. So I take myself to the clinic and I’m like check me out for everything and they did. And the doctor had no answer for what’s going on with me. My regular doctor was busy so I had to go to a different one but I sent my regular doc a message asking her about what’s been going on and no answer. And I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but I also feel just generally different down there. Like it doesn’t hurt or nothing but still. What do y’all think is going on?? I made another appt with my regular doctor but it’s not for a week 😫
