A little back story as a young girl I was sexually abused from someone in my family. I am very passionate about educating my son Logan about keeping his private parts..... private. I want him to know when he says “no” to hugs or kisses means no. I am teaching him he has control of his own body. Also when someone else says no to touching he shouldn’t keep touching that other person. We are also telling him about trusting adults, as we all sadly know not every adult is to be trusted with our children. My partner and I have made a list of a few adults we see as trusting adults in our lives.

We bought Logan a couple of books about his body and the book has examples of unwanted touching.

The book ‘I said No’ is for children about 5 and up but we are breaking it down to him and reading it as a chapter book to not overwhelm him.
