Does anyone have a good experience with Vicks baby rub?

My 11 month old is sick with a cold! Super congested and coughing/sneezing. Runny nose, you name it. It's his first cold and he isn't handling it well. Because of the stuffy nose he can't nap or sleep, and so he's in this perpetual cycle of sickness and exhaustion. 
I put Vicks babyrub tonight before bedtime on his chest, neck and back. I'm praying to God this works...because so help me I cannot have another sleepless night, I'm so tired 😵🥴🥺 (also 25 weeks pregnant!) 
Any good reviews on this? Does it indeed help them sleep at night?

I use it whenever my son is sick! It seems to help
I also give him zarbees all natural cold meds, suctioning out his nose, humidifier running during nap/sleep and elevating his mattress (I roll up 2 towels and stick them underneath his mattress so it’s at a slight angle). All those things together seem to help

We use saline drops in nose followed by nose frida. Humidifier on all night and baby vics on feet covered by socks. I have no idea why vicks on bottom of feet helps but it does. Good luck

Have you looked into saline nasal sprays? You can get ones for babies and I swear by them, I suffer terribly with allergies and hay fever, to the point where I can’t breathe from my nasal airways. A nasal spray helps so much! Makes for such a better night sleep.

To help with stuffy nose run shower as hot as can be  and let the steam accumulate in the bathroom. Carry baby in your arms and spend 10 minutes or so in there rocking or cuddling to help the little one clear up.you should notice a difference after you come out with baby. You may need to do it a few times a day. Have a humidifier near baby when sleeping. Also Vicks works wonders when you apply to the bottom of baby's feet at night. Eucalyptus oil in a warmer is also great for breathing issues. Hang in there mama!

I use tiger balm for my doctor. Similar to vicks baby rub and we also use Oilogic. You can find it at cvs. Works really well.
