anyone have experience with this? Open/patent urachus? My girl is 2 months old today and we had an ultrasound of her bellybutton last week as it seems to be “leaking” and not healing, although it’s definitely not infected or causing her any discomfort. Ultrasound results show possible patent urachus which usually means surgery to remove it . We have been referred to a urologist to further discuss whether we leave it in hopes of it closing or proceed with surgery. Completely unfamiliar with this condition prior to a couple weeks ago so any stories or experiences to share would be greatly appreciated!
