Is it bad to freeze homemade baby food?

So, I was talking to my friend and I mentioned that I have to make baby food for my boy and that I’ll make it for a week a freeze it. And she said ‘Can’t you make it every day? It’s not like he eats much’ and I just felt really shamed for freezing it for later use. I know I might be overreacting it just feels like I’m not doing enough for my boy even though I’m making my own baby food jars (fruit and veg) and not buying them.

What even? Who has time to purée food at every meal? I get that it doesn’t take long, but some of us are still struggling to find time to go to the bathroom. Yeesh!

Did someone really suggest you make him food everyday 🙄 that would be super annoying and I feel like a lot of the food would go to waste like how would you purée part of a fruit or veggie and then what just throw the rest away? You’re supposed to make a lot. The baby bullet and steamer come with freezer containers and a defrost tray. You’re definitely doing enough for your baby and it’s fantastic you’re making your own food!

Who has time for that? I don't even cook everyday for my older kids! We eat what we find in the fridge some days.

The baby food maker i have let's you defrost right in the same basket you cook in. Its so helpful. I hate when i don't make enough and have to make it everyday

I always made batches of food and froze it with my first and I’m doing the same again now. Why waste the little time we have doing food every time. 
Does your friend who actually said that have kids?

I freeze cubes of fresh vegetables and prepare those for his meals, I prefer to make it fresh for him, the moisture and texture seems different from when it was frozen, though it's all pureed in the mixer..
But there's definitely nothing wrong with freezing your prepared babyfoods!

Omg what! Freezing is perfectly fine. I do that too. There is no harm in freezing AT ALL. It’s great to be prepared. Does your friend have kids?

It is safe to freeze up to a month.

I do the same! I make enough for a week ish and freeze then thaw it out as needed.
