Copper iud and missing period

So I haven’t gotten my period this month and I’ve been seeing others with this same problem of having the copper iud and missing periods, i haven’t had sex since august (used condom) and my period has been regular until this month. I’m not sure if it’s a normal thing cause ive gotten my period every month since I got the IUD last March. Anyone with a similar experience and gotten their period back??
