Partner won't stop smoking inside?

Question

I'm pregnant and have been buying stuff for our baby anyway I brought the bassinet and some clothing and I asked him to stop smoking inside. He smokes in our bedroom (that's where I'm currently storing the babies stuff) anyway he pretty much just shrugged his shoulders and said just put a sheet over it. He has turned the curtains orange from smoking, I washed them a few months ago. I don't want our babies stuff impacted by smoke, it's disgusting. I'm about to pack up what I've brought and gonna take it to my mother's house to store it, I shouldn't have to do that. He says I shouldn't be buying stuff so early anyway so it's not his problem (I'm 11 weeks) it's our first child and I am excited and I love buying baby things. Ah I'm so frustrated. Any advice? Please and thank you
Edit: I'm fine with him smoking, dating a smoker isn't a problem but I don't want him smoking inside. I was a smoker until I found out I was pregnant but immediately stopped

He already doesn’t care and is making that obvious. Storing things at you moms house is smart since clearly he will not make a change. Also store yourself there with your baby.

He is already impacting your baby. He shouldn’t be smoking inside. You are pregnant and second and third hand smoke can be harmful to a developing baby. 
He sounds like he is going to a shitty dad. Hopefully he takes your child’s health more seriously.

He can’t smoke inside when baby is here so you need to put your foot down. My ultimatum would be either stop smoking inside or I’m leaving 🤷🏼‍♀️ I smoke and it’s really not that hard to go outside. I even change my shirt, brush my teeth and wash my hands when I come back inside because of the baby 😐

It’s not just your baby’s stuff—- it’s your baby. Second hand smoke is horrible for you and your are inhaling that WHILE pregnant.

You are already being impacted. Second hand smoke is actually worse than smoking yourself so might as well permanently store yourself and baby at your moms. 
Believe me he will not change when the baby comes. He doesn't care.

Tell him to stand at the back door and smoke out the door. My fiance smokes andhe doesn't do it inside. And esp when our newborn is here bc it can make breathing harder for a little baby and possibly SIDS. I make him stop smoking in the car also when we go places together. Get him use to doing this out of respect for his baby too!
