How do you commiserate another unsuccessful month?

Question

Hey ladies, so AF showed up today, when I was almost convinced this was our month.... sadly no! I was on hormonal birth control for 15 years, didn’t have a period for the last 5 of them. So now I know my cycle is regular but 26 days (so on the shorter side) and I usually ovulate day 15 (temp/OPK/EWCD) but try as we might - no luck
How do you all commiserate another failed month? Do you have some sort of ritual? 
Sitting here crying into a G&T while I wait for hubby to get home 😞

I usually let myself be sad/mad for a day and drink if I feel like it... then try to move on and stay optimistic, especially for hubby’s sake. I avoid our hot tub except when I know for sure I’m not pregnant, so I’ll usually enjoy that a little as well while I’m feeling sorry for myself. I know it’s hard to stay positive but the reality is it can take a year for even the healthiest couples.

I used to blame myself for being sad and mad, or whatever range of negative emotions I was going through.
I was stressing out trying not to stress out. 
Now I just accept the fact that I am going to be upset for a few days and that’s OK. I embrace and know I’m going to feel better a few days later

Yep. I cry. Have a glass of good wine or amazing cocktails. Ok I have a few. Then focus on health and next cycle. And always dog cuddles!!

TTC is hard in general but especially hard during covid because there are no distractions and no where to go. Wine, dog cuddles, Bravo and retail therapy always help me get through it.
