Marathon training and TTC?

Question

Has anyone else started trying to conceive after running a marathon? I ran a marathon in October and immediately started trying to conceive. Could this level of training have an impact on my cycle? Cycles have been regular other than light spotting about a week before AF for the last 3 cycles since the marathon.
Has anyone experienced something similar and how long after did it take you to TTC?

Hi! I know this is an old post, but I’m in this situation now. We started TTC this month but I’m training for a marathon in October (2.5 months away) and everyone is telling me I’ll never get pregnant while training 😔
