See another doctor?

Dawn

I could really use some advice from anyone who has been through anything similar.

I'm about to turn 38.

We didn't prevent for 3.5 years.

Two obgyns said we weren't doing it at the right time.

The first month we did it around ovulation, and I got pregnant.

Sadly, I miscarried.

We did the usual tests (FSH, LH, E2, AMH and progesterone) an HSG and SA for him. All came back normal.

I also had my TSH tested when pregnant which the doctor said shows my thyroid levels are fine.

My periods are like clockwork, but only last about 2 days now.

Both doctors told me the first 3.5 years "don't count" as ttc because we weren't trying enough and that my 2 day periods are normal and not an issue.

We're on month 9 after the miscarriage. We are trying more than enough around ovulation. We're not missing it.

Now I'm seriously panicking.

Should I see a fertility specialist? I know that sounds like an obvious question, but I ask because we did all of the usual fertility tests, so just wondering what tests a fertility specialist might do?

Or, should we keep trying for a few more months?

Can anyone share your personal experience or advice, please.

Thanks for any input.

*Semi-update:

Brief phone consultation with doctor: He said everything sounds normal and he doesn't see there being an issue. He says from the outset I will get pregnant.

Have an appointment scheduled with him for next week where he will look through my results and then discuss further.
