Any witches here?

Hey y’all I’m wanting to get into witchcraft, I bought a few books about it but they mainly have spells and just talk about different ways to do spells. Is there anything else that would be beneficial for a beginner to know? Also is there anything I should stay away from?

If you are interested in Wicca, I would start with a beginners book on Wicca. Not all witches are Wiccan. Wicca is a religion while witchcraft itself is not. That is an important difference to keep in mind. As another comment stated, there are many paths you can follow as a witch. I highly suggest not worrying to much about that in the beginning and just learning as much as you can. Over time, you will find what feels right to you and then you can go from there. I recommend “Wicca for Beginners” by Thea Sabin. I also recommend Scott Cunningham books. Wiccans live by the Wiccan Rede. Part of it basically says “if it harms none, do as ye will”. If you choose to follow Wicca, this should be your guiding principle. Feel free to ask any questions. 💗

What do you mean stay away from? You cannot have dark without light? There is always a balance.

As a Christian I’d say it’s a bad idea. Witchcraft is centered around the devil and he is not one to be messed with
