Fathers Rights?
I’ve been seeing this guy for a while and though strangely neither of us really see the other a potential life partner he really wants to have a child with me. We are both 21, I’m a licensed aesthetician, and hes a D1 athlete most likely league bound. I’ve always been a bit of a hustler and I know I could support my self and a child plus I already have a solid bit saved. Although I have yet to take him up on his offer to have a child, today I think I want to try. Ive lived such a full 21 years (like I moved out at 15 and to a foreign country) I think I’m ready The only thing is once I’m pregnant I want to leave the state and not tell him it’s his and raise it alone. I have no interest in him paying child support, I’ve always enjoyed living small (very dif to him). My question is... when he suspects the child is his can he force the baby to get a paternity test or ask for any rights? I think he would actually be an ok father, like no drug abuse or violence in like a genuine interest in children/babies so nothing like that to prevent him from having custody, I just could never trust a man.

This is more of a brain exercise not a plan if you know what I mean, I’m still Researching how to transfer my license, what my cost would be with health insurance ect...
Ok ok update: not pregnant and on birth control just thinking about stopping my birth control. It’s like y’all had good fathers or something because I have genuinely never met one. My two best friends were raised by single mothers abs have the healthiest relationships I’ve ever seen. Also real quick if I became pregnant raising that child will be the most serious researched thing I ever do. Most of the time you can’t adopt as a single woman especially as young as me?? Because I have 100% looked into that. I just seen no future where I would choose to raise a child with a man without him trapping me in it somehow.
Update #2 sometimes I post on here because I know I’m out my mind but I just need someone to tell me that lmao y’all are right I’ll get a dog instead😭😭
