Has anyone dropped their kid off at Grandmas and grandpas just to have a day alone at home? 
I am debating on doing this but feel guilty 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Even if it’s just for a few hours for me to go on a target run, blast my jams in the car, and splurge on Starbucks.

Yup! No guilt! My in laws are always asking to have her over and my daughter loves spending time with them. Win win in my book plus the alone time 🙌🏻

I haven't really in a while.... I need to! Precovid we used to do it in the evening so we could go on a date! My mil would feed her dinner and get her ready for bed for us! It's good for you and good for baby! Everyone needs a break some times!!

I actually just did this for the first time on Friday and it was amazing. We were going over for dinner anyways so I took her at lunch time and she stayed until we went back for dinner. I’m new to being a sahm my job shit down March to June and we decided I’d stay ho e until covid calmed down. So it’s just been me and her home everyday while her dad goes to work and he is working on his PhD so I don’t really get a break ever because when he is home he is trying to finish that. After 2 weeks of being up from teething I asked my mil if I could bring her over. I come home ate a hot lunch watched hours of real housewives while I had some wine with no one bothering me it was a nice break.

Absolutely!  Grandma & Grandpa pick one day a week. Kiddo goes over anywhere between 7:30-10am (depending on what's going on), comes home between 8-9pm and goes straight to bed. 
Don't feel guilty!  You need a break, especially now when all the activities for the kiddos have been canceled or switched to virtual (at least in my area).  
It is ok to accept help! You need to take care of you and you will feel so much better after even just a few hours of doing what YOU want rather than constantly hearing "Mommy play with me", " Mommy can you help me", "Mommy", "Mommy" 😳🥴
Also, if you need more convincing...it has been shown that grandparents who spend regular time with their grandchildren are less likely to develop depression and dementia. So really you're just helping them stay healthy 😉🤫

I wish!! We don’t have any family nearby so my only alone time is when he goes to daycare and I’m working. 👎 I desperately need a day off by myself.
