False Alarm: Embarrassed.

Yesterday, I had a false alarm. Note: this is my second pregnancy. I didn’t have any false alarms the first time.

I was making my toddler breakfast and suddenly I had a very warm, large gush of liquid. I freaked out and immediately went to the bathroom. The liquid was slightly yellow in color, but definitely did not appear to be pee.

THEN I immediately started having cramps. I called the doctor and they asked me to come in. I had to pull my husband out of a meeting. 🤦‍♀️

After several tests and lots of waiting, it turns out I freaking pees myself. I was so embarrassed and felt so stupid. The midwife told me it was normal, and sometimes at this point, baby just shoves their head into our bladder and this happens and there is no stopping it. My husband was understanding and said it was a great trial run.

I just feel so dumb. Haha. I knew it was different from when my water broke at home last time, but I also know all pregnancies are different.

Anyone else have some false alarms? 🤦‍♀️
