My job is full time work from home due to covid so I’m only going to take off the day of my retrieval and transfer. I have a desk job so I don’t really have to do anything physical to work.

I’m WFH until my retrieval surgery is over. I work in a design studio where I am constantly lifting boxes/furniture so told my boss what was going on. It’s definitely helped a lot to at least be able to be comfortable at home during this process and has taken a lot of stress off my plate.

I only took off the day of retrieval. Went back the next day with no issues. Pain was manageable with Tylenol. Transfer fell on a Sunday, so I didn’t have any conflict with work.

I just quit my job and am purposely starting my next one after I’m done with egg retrieval (4-6wks later). Primarily to reduce stress around the process, but also to not worry about getting behind with all the appointments.

I did but that’s because I work in a automotive manufacturing plant on an assembly line and once my ovaries were big and fluid filled I was too uncomfortable and worried about torsion.
