My boyfriend is a great person but sometimes really gets on my last nerve.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year. I’m 24 & he’s 30. He is by far one of the most sweet, loyal and funny person I have met and does everything he can to make me happy. He truly is a keeper and it blows my mind how I got so lucky to have him. There’s just one small thing.... he can act like a big baby when he tries to be goofy and it honestly makes me very agitated. He whines if I don’t give him a hug when he expects it, or acts way too goofy when it’s not the time and it just feels like he is a child. I am all for being funny and goofy since I am one myself but he always does it in the wrong time. I don’t know what to do or how to approach him about it? I have brought it up before and he said he understands but then he does it again. It’s like he can be super mature and then when he gets very comfortable with me he just acts so so so immature. Guys like him are hard to find and I really love him. But he makes me cringe so hard when he acts like a little toddler thinking he’s funny when he’s not.
