I had an ultrasound the day I was supposed to be “7weeks” exactly. But today my doctor confirmed that, they did see a fetal heart pole. And I was measuring 6 weeks 2 days 🙄 on that day. Is that normal?

Yup, you can be up to 2 weeks off. Just depends on ovulation and implantation. The dating by your period is a rough estimate and the first scan is usually the official dating scan. Although most doctors wont adjust your date unless it is more than a week off.

It’s normal for dates to change a little bit after your ultrasound. Most people don’t know exactly when they ovulate even if they’re using OPKs. At 6+2 our babe didn’t have a heartbeat on ultrasound yet. I would say your appointment sounds good!
