Thoughts on drinking a cup of coffee while pregnant? I just found out I am and wanted to cut out caffeine but the headache from it was unbearable! I was thinking about one cup a day?

I have a 3 year old, 1.5 year old, and I'm 27 weeks pregnant. Sometimes a cup of coffee is the only thing that keeps me going through the day. Little guy is perfectly healthy in the womb and I drank caffeine when I was pregnant with both of my daughters as well

Who says pregnant women don’t drink coffee? It is ok to drink 1-2 cup a day

I was told up to 200mg of caffeine a day is fine! My doctor actually laughed at me when I said I was struggling to cut it out completely, she said that’s unnecessary

I found out that an espresso has less caffeine then brewed coffee, it has 75mg. So I drink 2 espressos a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I have a 2 year old, I need to stay alert! 😂

With my daughter I cut it out completely during the first trimester (had a chemical before her so I was a little paranoid.) With my son though I had one every morning. Even my doctor said one cup was fine.
