Birth story on V-Back

mal

Hi, ladies.

I kinda just wanted to share my story.

When I was pregnant with my son. It was my very first time I was going to be a mom.

You know how you go into your doctors appointments every month and you have this idea in your head. This how I want my birth to play out. This who I’m going to have in there. This how I want it to go. Let me tell you it doesn’t. Things happen while in labor and sometimes things don’t go as planned. I was in labor for two days with my son. I was only 3cm so they sent me home. Than after that night, than my blood show happened I was in full labor. I remember pushing for 6 hours. Finally I couldn’t do it anymore. My son had turn and his heart rate was slowing down. I remember I had no medication. I could feel everything. My doctor had sit me up and told me they were moving me into surgery it was the most hardest thing ever! The moment they sit me up I could feel my body wanting me to push. And I had to hold back. Until finally I was able to get in the surgery room. I was fully awake when that happen they only put me to sleep waist down. I felt really mad at myself because I felt like why couldn’t I push my son out. The recovery was so hard. Breastfeeding was also so hard, my body wasn’t making milk and I couldn’t even breastfeed because of my cut no matter how I try to lay my son.

The second time I found out I was pregnant I got actually doctor who was known for V/backs. I started to see him. He told me he could because I didn’t have anything wrong with my body. The only reason why they couldn’t let other people do it unless they had issues as far as health. My sisters and everyone told me I was crazy I wasn’t gonna be able to do it. Let me tell you....

I bounce on a birthing ball for three days because I had read a post on here it helped. It sure did, by the time I got to the hospital, I was 5cm open! I was so surprised on how far along I was. By the time they gave me a room and check me in. My water broke. I was 7cm. The time went by so fast and it came down to pushing my daughter. I pushed for no more than 30 minutes and she was born. And I had did it! I was so proud so happy! I couldn’t believe it. Very birth and everyone is different. I never image I could do it. Now im pregnant with my third and hoping I can also do it again. But also have a open mind.
