Hi ladies, so at my 12 week appointment on Thursday 1/21/21 I am going to be getting the blood work done for genetic testing. My insurance doesn’t cover it until I reach my deductible for the year ($3,000), and even though I have the billing codes they will not tell me an even approximate out of pocket cost. Myriad Labs, the lab my OB uses, will not tell me a cost until after the sample is sent to them. I am getting the carrier screening/genetic testing and NIPT done. Can anyone tell me their experience with out of pocket costs for these tests, either through Myriad or another lab? Any insight is appreciated!
