How to get rid of unwanted / unwelcome guests at home?

So these guests they are after us from about a year asking to come over to our place to live for a month. We have been avoiding by making different excuses but now from last month they are asking on daily basis from my husband and forcing and saying that it seem you people dont want us at your house, or will you make excuse for another 2 years etc etc. now we cannot cut off ties with them totally because we have some terms works etc together. My husband says that he cannot tell them straight away not to come or a straight No because it is very rude and this may lead to a total cut off of ties from them which we cannot do. i also think the same.

They live out of state and they have no work or business in our state. Dont know what are their intentions wanting to live at our place for a month. We are fine if they come to visit like twice a year for a week or 5 days and live at our place. But we dont like it, them coming after every 3 months to live up till a month and disturb the privacy of our life and routine.

I was thinking may be we could do something when they are at our place so that they get a message not to come like that. I dnt know and cannot think of any idea or way. Any suggestions to get rid of them without seeming rude? We dont like them because they are very clingy and disturb our privacy and try to interfere in our daily life matters which is annoying. im remaining anonymous. I will update this if any reply is needed.

Update: yeah im also thinking to blame the pandemic for now and say they can come when its over but what about after the pandemic? Any suggestions for that also?
