Insecure husband

We were watching a show & this lady starts to fix herself up after her fiancé leaves her. My husband then made a comment about that saying she’s doing it for attention. I said well I always fix myself up so you can’t say that about me. He then turns around and says yes you do and I’m glad bc I have to look at you. I just kept watching the show like it didn’t bother me but it did. This isn’t the first time he says something to me. Like if I touch my hair or fix it when we’re out at the store or visiting family he said I’m doing it for attention. I spoke his brother in laws hand out or respect and he said I know what your doing. Seriously this is getting out of hand. He even says that about my brother in law when he asked if I could bake a cake for dessert. How do I tell him this is getting out of hand and I don’t like it.
