My baby is due in 3 weeks. The car seat base is in my car. Is it okay if I have the car seat in my car too? It’s very cold where I live.

I wouldn’t just because if you are in an accident even a very minor one you will need a new seat

I normally do. When I set up the nursery I set up the car as well. The baby bag stays in the car seat so I don’t have to worry about grabbing it either.

I would read the manual, because some car seats even after the smallest hit like backing into something require you to replace the seat.
