Do you celebrate Halloween as a Christian ? Obviously as an adult we don’t trick or treat but do you hand out candy, watch Halloween movies? Etc and is this sinful?

I don’t partake in the pagan / witchcraft / wicken rituals, but we take the kids trick or treating and carve or paint pumpkins. I don’t like being scared and don’t find it fun, so the shows we watch are things like Hocus Pocus or The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Our Pastor also does these things with his kids.

Yes. It’s the heart of the person God judges. 
If your heart is bad and you don’t celebrate Halloween you’re better off with a good heart celebrating Halloween. 
I think we place too many rules on ourselves when it comes to being Christian. The main message is to be and share love and the love of Christ if you do that you’re good.

Ya I decorate my house, hand out candy, watch fun movies, make Carmel apples and used to go trick or treating. I also dress up in fun costumes! I don’t participate in witchcraft or anything lol, u just enjoy the holiday. A blog of Christian friends do the same, I have no negative or malicious intent with it, it’s not a sin in how I celebrate it.

We're kind of a mixed household on the subject so I can explain how we feel on both sides so you can kinda see how we've compromise in areas.
I personally believe overall no, Halloween shouldn't be celebrated as a Christian household because it has a high focus on the occult which the Bible actively condemns (Leviticus 19:26, verse 20 of Galatians 5:19-21).
My partner however loves this holiday regardless of whether or not it's religiously right and personally doesn't feel like it's bad enough to completely throw out the window. 
As a Christian, you're also supposed to keep peace in your household, so instead of drawing a dividing line in the sand, we've kind of broken it down into pieces of what we feel is okay and what we can agree isn't, and this is how we choose to celebrate:
Costumes are fine as long as it isn't something occult or violent or over-sexualized. So vampires, axe murders, or bikini nurses are probably a no-go, but if you wanna dress your kid up as Superman or you feel like being Cleopatra this year, why not?
Candy is fine and kind of easy since there's not many rules on why candy would be bad, but we check the wrappers to make sure the occult/violence rule applies. Other than just don't put razor blades in your candy. 🙂
Horror movies and haunted houses would be more difficult imo to allow. Like, if you can find a horror movie that's completely psychological and doesn't involve someone getting their innards torn out and a monster eating their face or a haunted house where a demon isn't chasing you into the next room, then I guess you can go? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Jack'o'lanterns are a bit in the middle. They have origins from people hollowing out gourds and placing candles in them to represent souls locked in purgatory. I like them from an artistic point of view however, and I feel like literally no one hollows out a pumpkin to lock a soul in it, so it's technically allowed for us.
Keep in mind this is just us though, and we may be doing it completely wrong, but I thought I would share our reasoning so you can make an educated decision for yourself on what to allow and what not to.

Kind of mixed I guess. I mean I don’t practice in Christian beliefs like I should.. But I do believe in god, and my dad is very religious. I am trying to get in a better place with it. So maybe I don’t have room to talk. But for me I love horror movies. I watch them all the time. Especially around Halloween time I just like to. And I do like to take my son trick or treating. He’s 3 so for me it’s having him in a cute costume, and for him it’s all about the candy. But I don’t decorate or anything like that.

No don’t do it. It’s derived from the pagan-Celtic celebration of Samhain. 
They intended to cast out evil spirits by using intimidating masks and costumes, but also by divinations and occult practices themselves. 
Don’t think we are growing in sanctification and Christ-likeness if we follow the world and celebrate Halloween.
