Cradle Cap?

Hello mamas! I got my 4 month old baby girl out of the bath tonight and noticed she has cradle cap. I tried putting some cream on it and then brushing it but it didn’t work. Any suggestions?

It took me 3 nights to get rid of it, it was a kinda a lot of it. I would gently massage some extra virgin coconut oil in the scalp, leave it for about 15 minutes, then take a bath, using a gently brush on his head while wet, and then again, while dry. Completely gone.

I just used to warm up olive oil in my hands and gently massage it through my daughters scalp and just leave it there when it softens I just got a soft brush and gently brushed the scalp

I just took my 2 month old to the doctor for it because he got a rash on his face and he told me he had the same thing and gave me dove baby wash with no smell to it and told me to use that. He said nothing else really works and it will go away on its own and not to put other stuff on it because they are producing a lot of oils and that’s why it smells like that.

Coconut oil, soft brush to loosen it, and then super fine toothed comb to get it out. Brush away from their face so pieces don’t fall onto the face and cause issues.

Olive oil and leave it on for 10 mins. Gently brush, baby shampoo and rinse. I did this before every bath and eventually the cradle cap went away.

Yes my daughters pediatrician recommended to put coconut oil on my daughters hair and brush it 30 min before her bath. All where cradle cap it so her whole scalp. Then in the bath wash it good with non scented shampoo and brush it again with a soft bristle brush until it’s all washed out. If it’s on her face then do the same with coconut oil on her face then gently wipe off with soap and water and warm wash cloth(no bristle brush). When she gets out we put non scented lotion on her as well.  We did this for about 3 weeks and it was gone.

My son had it bad, the hair brushes didn't work, so I would use baby oil or coconut oil and a soft bristle tooth brush and do it gradually over a week to get rid of it
