Can old surgery scar on abdomen affect the bump?

Would an old midsection abdominal surgery scar longer than 6 inches near the naval affect the baby bump? Can it cause any additional pain or discomfort? 
Please share your experience or pics if anyone has faced this situation.

I have a huge scar from hip to hip. It hasn’t affected the shape of my bump and hasn’t caused me any pain so far. I’m 31 weeks :)

I have multiple abdominal scars from surgeries. One of them makes my bump look a bit funny but mostly the scars just stretch. Sometimes they itch but no pain.

I have a previous c-section scar along with 5 scars from a splenectomy. The one that goes into my belly button did bother me some even though it’s only about 1.5 inches. It would sting as the scar tissue stretched but other than that it was fine.
