What age is normal for girls to start waxing in your area?

I saw a post where a bunch of girls where talking about how they started shaving at 10-12, it kinda shocked me lol. Most girls I know who wax didn’t start until they where 16-20, and are doing it because they’re sexually active.

Waxing? About 16-18, but I started shaving when I was 13 even though I wasn’t sexually active. Pubic hair isn’t dirty or unhygienic, but it personally makes me feel dirty and I find that I’m more sensitive to touch when it’s gone.

I started at 12 when I got my period. My hair would mix with the blood and get stuck in the pass and Id have to rip it off. Idc when girls shave. Hair can be embarrassing for any age really. But I don’t think they’ll wax you until 18

That seems super young, I think I was about 15 the first time I fully removed my pubes and that was only shaving. I would expect it now for 13 yr olds but 10 seems crazy to me!!

I started using a trimmer as soon as it got bushy the first time I like it short, and I always shave along the bikini like against my legs because I don’t like when it shows beneath underwear it’s gross to me. I’ve never waxed though and never will I just trim. But I started caring about it’s appearance versus just keeping it short for my comfort when I started dating my boyfriend when I was 17

Waxing and shaving are different in my opinion. I started shaving down there really young bc it got very long and hard to keep clean for me. I think when you want to shave down there is up to the owner of who’s parts it is lmao. Going in to get a wax tho, I’d wait til you’re 18 cause I would thing the person who has do the waxing would most likely being uncomfortable seeing a minor. Or at least I would be if that was my job.

Girls in my high school and some in middle school got made fun of for having hair on their bodies, it was pretty sad. So I guess it was normal to be shaving at a young age because of this weird peer pressure and body shaming where I lived. I never got into waxing but would say my friends starting talking about it in the 16-18 range?

Waxing seems excessive for kids. If I had the money for that I probably would now at 20 but even then. I started shaving at like 15 or 16, although I wasn’t sexually active with anyone but myself at the time 😂😂😂

I think I started shaving my legs and my under arms when I was maybe 10 or 11, I think I got my cycle when I was around that age 2, I remember in fifth grade I went through this anti-hair phase where I shaved off every ounce of hair on my body, even shaved my head halfway up my head, I’m half Spanish and half Middle Eastern so I was always pretty hairy, and even now I’ve been shaving my upper lip for as long as I can remember. I think when you have blonde hair it’s not as noticeable but when you have dark hair it definitely is, I’m trying to remember the first time I got my eyebrows waxed and my lip waxed waxing was always painful, I once got second-degree burn at European wax center like five years ago maybe it was more, and I never did waxing ever again, I just shave. I’ve tried threading before, that’s also just as painful easier just shaving and plucking it sucks too. I think the writing is less painful than waxing is. And at least you don’t get a second-degree burn. But definitely fifth grade maybe fourth grade I started shaving I know it’s definitely fifth grade because I started my cycle in fifth grade. I don’t think I started waxing until maybe I was 15 or 16 but then again it really wasn’t that popular to wax it was more shaving for most people and 42.
