Heart murmur?

Yesterday at my daughters 6 month appointment she heard a heart murmur for the first time and recommended us to a pediatric cardiologist although she’s sure it’s most likely nothing .. of course FTM can’t help but freak out .. anyone else have this happen to them? i know there is a million different heart murmurs but i’m just curious.
-we did make an appointment but it’s not till next week-

My husband and I had to take our little boy for a check up at a paediatric doctor when he was about 3 months old.
The doctor thought she heard something and we were sent for a heart scan.
We were also told it was most likely nothing and that generally most babies have this in the first year and it's very common. She said people don't usually know as it's not usually commonplace for a newborn / infant to get they're heart listened too unless they have a reason to be seen and they just have a quick listen out of routine.
When our son was born he stayed in hospital for a couple weeks and it was not a serious issue but he lost some weight while there. So we had the check up confirming he was steadily gaining weight once he left. He was and still is.
It was very scary for my husband and I to have to get this scan done but I guess I can assure you it's actually very very common. I probably had one myself.
Our son had his scan and he is absolutely fine fit and very very healthy.
There was no problems and we do not have to go back.
We had no idea how common this is but the reason for it not being heard if a lot makes sense.
We are also first time parents. :).

Not to my baby, but I had one as a kid. I was diagnosed at birth. I had Echocardiograms done every once in a while. By the time I was 18, it was gone. It’s really common for kids to outgrow them. It never affected my life in any way except for a few extra doctor appointments every few years.
